导师（Hierophant）一词源自希腊语，古希腊埃勒夫西斯秘密宗教仪式的主祭司，主要工作是神秘宗教庆典中呈上圣物，并对初入教者解释秘义。昭圣者必须出身尤摩尔浦斯氏族（埃勒夫西斯的原始氏族之一），通常都是年高德劭、声音洪亮的独身男子。就职时，要象徵性地把原先的名字抛入海中，此後只称昭圣者。

易学导师这一概念【Iching Hierophant 】或者【YIjing Hierophant 】是国际东西大学研究员、名誉教授、易学专家董斌在2003年提出的一个学术职位职务。该名词受到荷 兰阿姆斯特丹大学MBA研究生EMMA启示而形成概念，该职位职务授予在易学领域有卓越的学术贡献的专家学者，由国际易学导师资格评审委员会主席团认可，国际易学导师资格评审委员会主席团由国际著名易学专家组成，其中几位是大学创办人兼校长，均在国际易学界有相当的影响和地位，例如，国际易经学会会长成中英博士，中华周易学会会长吴秋文教授，山东大学刘大钧教授，台湾易经大学校长张益瑞等等，授予国际易学导师的学术职位职务，宗旨是建立国际易学和景观建筑风水学的语言与学术标准，发扬正真学术，恢弘中华思想精粹，传播华夏民族文化。

制度模式

导师制是一种教育制度，与学分制、班建制同为三大教育模式。导师制由来已久，早在十四世纪，牛津大学就实行了导师制，其最大特点是师生关系密切。导师不仅要指导他们的学习，还要指导他们的生活。国内各高校都在探索研究生教育以外的高等教育也能建立一种新型的教育教学制度——导师制，以更好地贯彻全员育人、全过程育人、全方位育人的现代教育理念，更好地适应素质教育的要求和人才培养目标的转变。这种制度要求在教师和学生之间建立一种“导学”关系，针对学生的个性差异，因材施教，指导学生的思想、学习与生活。导师制从制度上规定教师具有育人的责任，使教师在从事教学科研以外，将对学生进行思想、学习、科研、心理等方面的教育和指导作为其工作的另一部分。要求全体教师关注学生从入学至毕业整个教育过程和学生的学习、工作、生活等各个教育环节，对学生的教育要有整体性和一贯性的观念，自始至终和任何环节都不放松对学生的教育和指导。
