Turing [Turn]to paragraph five and paragraph six, I get many new understandings.

At the beginning of paragraph5, the phrase “spring from” puzzles me. After looking it up in the dictionary, I get that it refers to be the result of. And the other word “biased” means that like something no reasons. It is usually followed by “toward”. I think I can use them in the next time.

In paragraph six, the first sentence attracts me. So, what is the meaning of “possess certain desirable traits”? Here, I suppose that it mean [means]have [having]some characteristic. In the following sentence, it seems that the phrase “other things being equal” omits some components. I think we can add ‘if” or “when” before this phrase [which]can be better
